Commissioner Details

Commissioner Bai Emil Touray is a trained journalist, who worked for several news organisations including APA News Agency, Agence France Presse and the defunct Banjul based Daily Observer. Touray is also a proponent of freedom of expression and access to information, who has litigated media freedom cases both locally and internationally at the African Court on Human and Peoples Rights in Tanzania. He is a human rights defender.
