NRC Partners with Ministry of Information to Promote RTI Awareness
The NRC, in collaboration with the Ministry of Information, has launched a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about citizens’ right to access public information.
The National Records Commission and the Ministry of Information have launched a joint public awareness campaign aimed at educating Gambians about their constitutional right to information.
The campaign includes radio programs, community dialogues, and social media outreach activities designed to reach rural and urban audiences alike.
According to the Commission’s Chairperson, the initiative will help citizens understand how to submit information requests and how the government handles them under the Access to Information Act.
